Act 9: Epilogue is the ninth act in Rise of Nightmares. Taking place after Act 8, this act only contains a cutscene that serves as the epilogue for the game.
Plot[]
After the credits end, a cutscene plays showing Josh and a pregnant Kate leaving Romania on a train. As Josh leaves, he bumps into a man, his face and body badly burned and bandaged carrying a briefcase with him. The man sits down on the left row seat just behind Josh and Kate's right row, and opens his suitcase to reveal three small phials with Viktor's parasites in them. The man stares at Kate with a sinister grin on his face and the camera draws away from the scene, ending with the man's sinister laugh with the text "The End" appearing before it fades to black.
